The company, originally founded by Doctor Bernard in 1875, went on to become the brand Aubade in 1958, creators of the beautiful French lingerie we know today.
Aubade very quickly stood out from the other 'functional' underwear producers of the time with their fun prints and co-ordinated lingerie collections. In 1964 they became integrated with fashion with the launch of two yearly collections.
The youthful and provocative advertising in 1968 positioned Aubade as a seductive lingerie brand. They have wonderful photographers, the most beautiful models, in luxurious settings, together making their brochures works of art.
Even when the lingerie collections are no longer available the wonderful images live on!
